Resident Account Representative - back to top
The Resident Account Representative is responsible to assist Billing Manager with the functions of the facility's financial records in compliance with regulatory standards as well as established policies & procedures. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Charge Entry
  • Monthly billing
  • Monthly statements
  • Accounts receivable
  • Patient Account Collections
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Applicant must have 2+ years of Medicare and Medicaid billing for long term care facility or hospital
  • Knowledge of Medicaid approval process a plus
  • Prior long term care business office experience a plus
  • Basic accounting

Collections experience a plus. Will cross-train on all business office functions which include greeting & directing visitors, answering a multi-line phone, recording messages & screening appointments. Must possess ability to relate favorably with visitors, staff, residents & families. Requires travel to local agencies related to resident billing, to include travel for banking & mailing procedures.

Dietary Aide - back to top
Dietary Aide is responsible in aiding the Cook in insuring meals are prepared & served in a timely manner, in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, regulations & recommendations of a Registered Dietitian. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Food Preparation
    • Reads Menus & Recipes to aide Cook in Food Prep
    • Follows Spreadsheet on Portion Sizes & Utensils to Include Adaptive Equipment to Achieve Successful Tray Set Up
    • Covers, Labels & Dates All Food Items
    • Prepares Snack Food Trays According to Resident's Diet & Insures all Items Labeled Accordingly
  • Food Service
    • Stocks Tray line & Dining Room With Necessary Supplies & Assures All Food Items Needed for Tray Line are Available
    • Prepares Trays According to Resident Diet Card to Contain All Items Needed & Assembles According to Serving via Hall Carts & Dining Room Seating Order
    • Prepares Beverages & Beverage Trays For Tray Line & Dining Room Service
    • Delivers Snack Food Trays to Designated Nursing Areas
  • Dining Room/Dish Room
    • Collects Soiled Dishes From Dining Room Tables & Takes To Dish Room for Breakdown (Sorts, Scraps, Racks Dishes)
    • Assures Proper Chemicals are Used In Dish Washing & Sanitation Process as well as Records Temperatures During Wash & Rinse Cycles. Unloads & Stores Clean Dishes at end of Cycles
    • Cleans Dining Room & Beverage Area
    • Cleans Employee Eating Area
  • Cleaning & Sanitation
    • Breaks Down & Cleans Steam Table & Dish Machine after each Meal
    • Cleans Equipment, Counters, Tables & Shelves Daily
    • Maintains Food Storage Areas in Neat Order as well as Dispose of Unusable or Out-of-Date Foods at Supervisor's Approval
    • Assures all Other Department Areas & Surfaces are Clean

Dietary Cook - back to top
Dietary Cook is responsible to assist in providing quality meals served in a timely manner in accordance with requirements of the state of TN & following Federal Food Codes. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supervisory Duties
    • Food Storage & Prep Procedures
    • Open & Close of Shift Procedures
    • Directs staff to Complete Meal Prep
    • Communicates Pertinent Information to Dietary Director
  • Food Preparation
    • Follows Menus & Recipes Provided by Registered Dietician
    • Uses Proper Equipment, Weights & Measurements
    • Checks Steam Table Temps & Food Temps Before, During & as Meal is Served
    • Tastes Food & Adjusts Seasonings Accordingly
  • Sanitation & Cleanliness
    • Maintains Walk-in, Refrigerator & Freezer are in Clean Order
    • Covers, Dates, Labels & Stores All Food Items Appropriately
    • Assures All Work Areas, Equipment & Utensils are Clean
    • Washes Pots & Dishes as Needed
  • Safety
    • Observes Department Safety Procedures, i.e. Equipment, Fire, Floor, Food Temps
    • Insures Food, Freezer & Refrigerator Temps are Recorded Regularly, at Least Twice Daily

Staff Nurse (RN or LPN) - back to top
Nurse must be licensed in the state of TENNESSEE or other compact state and not listed on the abuse registry. Nurse is responsible for directing and supervising personnel on assigned unit and care of residents. Participates in shift to shift reporting of resident status, performs assessment rounds, communicates with physicians and pharmacy regarding resident care needs/changes, family relations, documentation of resident care and other duties as assigned. Certified Nurse Assistant - back to top
The Nurse Assistant, under the general supervision of a licensed nurse, is responsible for providing all activities of daily living according to resident's needs as outlined in plan of care & in accordance facility policy & procedure. Nurse Assistant must be certified in the state of TN or hold certification as a nurse aide in a transferrable state per the State of TN guidelines. The Nurse Assistant must have a genuine interest in the management of direct care for nursing home residents as well as a cheerful attitude, patience & superior use of tact & courtesy in addressing residents, families, staff & visitors.

The Activity Assistant assists in planning, organizing & implementing Activity events of the Activity Department to enrich the lives of the individuals residing in the facility. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Programs/Events
    • Visits Newly Admitted Residents
    • Assists in Planning Individual & Group Activities
    • Communicates Programs/Events
    • Acts as the Lead Activity Representative During Activity Events
  • Public Relations/Communication
    • Develops Warm, Professional Working Relationship with Residents, Family Members & Visitors, Staff & Volunteers

Maintenance Technician - back to top
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director involving exterior & interior maintenance of the premises, including but not limited to:

  • lawn care
  • painting
  • roofing & gutter repair
  • lighting
  • clearing parking lots of debris
  • upkeep in maintenance supply storage office/equipment maintenance
  • window repair
  • remodeling projects, i.e. drywall, wallpapering, framing
  • minor plumbing
  • ceramic tile repair/floor covering replacement
  • minor electrical work
  • carpentry work
  • all manner of duties connected to fire & disaster safety in the workplace, such as regular air conditioning/heating unit filter cleaning and/or replacement.

Maintenance Technician responsible to take call in absence of Maintenance Director and/or as indicated week to week. Maintenance Technician observes policies & procedures of the department and the facility at all times.

Restorative Nurse Aide - back to top
The Restorative Nurse Aide is responsible to assist with restorative programs as indicated through range of motion exercises, positioning, ambulation, activities of daily living, dining & other programs designed to enrich the lives of the residents of the facility. Must be a certified nurse aide in the state of TN or hold certification as a nurse aide in a transferrable state per the State of TN guidelines. The Nurse Assistant must have a genuine interest in the care of nursing home residents, a cheerful attitude, patience, understanding & use tact & courtesy in addressing residents, families, staff & visitors. Lead Restorative C.NA - back to top
Lead Restorative Certified Nurse Aide (C.NA) assists with restorative programs as indicated through range of motion exercises, positioning, ambulation, activities of daily living, dining programs, etc. Will be responsible for keeping documentation of resident weights. Will attend NAR (Nutrition At Risk) meetings, collaborating with Dietary & Nursing in order to establish care plan for optimum outcome of resident status. MUST have former experience creating spreadsheets/reports using Microsoft Excel & Word. MUST have current certification, i.e. C.NA & in good standing. Experience in Restorative preferred.

Speech Therapist - back to top

Follows the direction of the Social Services Director to meet the objectives of the nursing facility as part of the resident total care. Assures the maintenance of appropriate records of department services & submits to Social Services Director/Administrator as required.

Physical Therapist - back to top
The Physical Therapist shall screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan & make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician in a professional, competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care. Must have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Must have an active licensure & in good standing. Must have excellent organizational & time management skills. Must have knowledge of code of ethics & role delineation, including guidelines for supervision. Must have active CPR certification.

Medical Records Specialist - back to top
Medical Records Specialist is responsible to maintain active medical records for each resident & see all medical records are completed & preserved to acceptable standards. Assists in establishing P&P for medical records in compliance with facility regulations as well as regulatory statutes.

Floor Technician - back to top
The Floor Technician is responsible for ensuring floor surfaces requiring buffing, waxing and/or stripping are completed in a manner that reflect an acceptable degree of luster & are completed in a timely manner.
